Homework                                              Thursday, August 31

Spelling:  Write Spelling List 1 twice.  Definitions only need to be written once anytime we have Spelling homework.

History:  Study pages 4-17 for the PRACTICE Quiz.  This is not a recorded Quiz grade;  it is just for practice.  To help them study, you can ask them the questions on pages 13 and 18 and help them become familiar with the bold print words.

This first quiz may be difficult for them as 4th grade assessments are a new format for them.

They will be experts in no time at all! :)

Thanks,

Our first 2 days were amazing!  Thank you so very much for trusting me with your children!  I consider it a great honor!

The students need to have a King James Bible to keep at school.  I forgot to put that on the original supply list, so they are welcome to borrow one until you can get one.  Thank you!

Each Friday the class will bring home their graded work in a folder with a paper stapled to the outside that I need for you to sign and send back Monday morning.  Each student who brings them back by Monday will get a piece of candy.  Keep the papers;  send the signed folder back.  The students will be able to see all graded papers as they are graded, but I send them home together weekly.  This system helps keep graded papers accounted for.

Each day the students will bring home a folder with their homework assignments and IXL log-in information.  This does not need to be signed, and details about IXL will come home next week.  You do not need to do anything with IXL just yet!

There will be a Math Quiz on Thursday, a Trial Spelling test on Thursday, the actual test is Friday, and there is a History Quiz on Friday.

Homework will begin on Thursday evening.

I will update this blog each Friday after school.

Have a great weekend!
