 Thursday Update

Tonight's homework:

Math problems 5, 6, and 7 on the worksheet.

Missed Spelling words 3 times.

Study 1 Cor. 13:11-13 for the quiz tomorrow.

Finish reading Song of the Brook

Math Note:

We are still working to memorize our multiplication facts.  This is very important for 4th graders as it is the foundation for most of the math that they will learn.

A website I suggest is mathisfun.com  If you go to the "Numbers" section and choose "Multiplication", there are several options to choose from.  Scroll down the page to see tips and a section called "Math Trainer" for practice.  They can always get on IXL at home, and purchasing a set of flashcards is a great idea.

Tuesday Update:  NO MATH HOMEWORK AND NO WRITTEN HISTORY HOMEWORK.

TRIAL SPELLING TEST IS THURSDAY OVER LIST 11

Tuesday's homework:

Language:  Rewrite page 45 onto notebook paper.  They should do their best to rewrite what they already wrote in class with correct spelling and complete sentences.  This is about 4-6 sentences.

History:  Study for test over chapter 8.  We did a quiz today and wrote notes for a study guide that should be helpful.

Read in Song of the Brook.   We will read in class tomorrow, but they should be around chapter 10 at this point.

There will not be homework over Thanksgiving break.

For our next book report book, they get to choose their own book!  I would like them to pick a book with at least 100 pages that they have not already read to begin once we return to school.  I am just letting you know now that they will need one.  I have several here at school for them to choose from as well.
