Elementary only has school on Thursday and Friday this week.  The plumbing repairs have required a part to be ordered, you probably received a call from the school about this.

We will take our Spelling Test and History Practice Quiz on Thursday.  In order to keep on track with our Spelling lists, we will begin List 2 right after the test on Thursday, and we will shorten the list to words 1-15 only.   The test for list 2 will be taken on Monday, September 11th.

***Each Friday I will post the next week's tests, quizzes, homework, and announcements here.  I will also print it out and they will put it into their take-home folder to refer to throughout the week.

The homework can change daily to meet the needs of the class.  We will write any changes down on the printout in their folders if that happens, and I will update the blog.

An important part of 4th grade is for the class to develop study and organizational skills, so please allow them to do their homework independently as much as they can.  If homework becomes overwhelming please contact me so we can make adjustments.
