Here is the work packet to be completed on Friday.  All assignments are required and are due on Monday.  

Students will now be rewarded for every 100 questions that they answer on IXL in addition to the top 3 prizes on leaderboards. After 10 incorrect questions, IXL will not count questions that are incorrect, so be careful.  This is so students cannot simply answer questions wrong just to boost numbers.  :)

There is no school on Friday the 19th.  I will post and send home a work packet for that day later in the week.

                Spelling-  Copy list twice.  This week's list will be shortened.  We will only do words 1-12 and                                     vocabulary 21-25 on list 27 due to the short week of school.  Test will be Thursday;                                      there will not be a trial test. 

Tuesday- Language- P. 304 L. 148

                Health- Finish p. 55 if it is not completed in class.  

                There is a current event due on Friday.  I will send home an index card      . 

There is a Health test on Wednesday  Thursday over chapters 1-3.  There is not a quizlet, but they do have a study guide.

I want to let all the parents know that every day we have a Study Hall where the class can start homework.  If your child is not finishing some of their work in school, you may need to mention to them that they should be using their class time wisely.  

 

 We will be having an Easter party Thursday the 28th. Please send in a dozen plastic eggs filled with a small treat. I will have some snacks, and you can send in a snack if you would like. We will eat a normal lunch, but we will eat in the classroom.

Thursday Homework (due Monday)-

Write a 5 sentence story using as many Spelling List 24 words as you can and include a simile and a metaphor in your story.  

Please spend at least 30 minutes on IXL doing the teacher suggested skills. 

Begin studying for Tuesday's Science Test.  It will be over chapters 7-9.  They can also use the quizzes we took in class today to study.
