Supply List for 2023-2024 School Year

Welcome to 4th Grade!  I hope everyone is enjoying summer break!  Here is your school supply list for this year.

Loose leaf paper- 3 packages

Notebooks containing 3 subjects-2 or 3 should get them through the year

3 sturdy folders

No. 2 pencils-Mechanical pencils are great!  It is worth mentioning that we always end up with a pencil shortage, so if you buy extra of something, pencils should be it!

2 dry-erase markers

2 glue sticks

1 ruler with inches and centimeters

Pencil Box/Pouch

Colored Pencils (They do not need crayons this year)

Wired Earbuds

1 bottle of hand sanitizer

2 boxes of tissues

Also at different points through the school year, the class will need 2 tri-fold poster boards and 2 regular poster boards.  This is just a heads-up!  You do not need to send them in yet, I will let you know when they are needed.

I am looking forward to a great school year!  Please shoot me a message or give me a call any time!

Thanks,

 Announcements for the week:

Testing will be Monday-Wednesday.  Please help them to have a good night's sleep and a good breakfast.

We will do regular school work in the afternoons, but there will be no tests, homework, etc.

If you would like to send extra snacks or treats for the time after testing each day, please feel free.  I have some special treats planned!

There will be no spelling test this week;  we will be playing spelling games and reviewing troublesome words from this year's lists.

There will be one last spelling test Wednesday, May 10th over list 33.  We will begin practicing this list this Thursday, so they will get a full week of time to study the list.

Keep reading!  I have lots of new treats for the reading contest!  This is a great time to boost those reading skills!  Being a good reader makes a huge difference in not just their schoolwork, but in their entire life!

The school-wide party is on May 19th.  I will have a hard time saying goodbye!
