Copy Spelling words from LISTS 25 and 26 once.  We will combine these lists this week doing only words 1-15 on both lists .  We will not do either of the vocabulary sections.  

Language-Finish biography book report worksheet.  We will begin this in class, and they should get a significant part complete here at school.  

History-Read pp 347-349.  Do 14.2 ON PAPER.

I want to let all the parents know that every day we have a Study Hall where the class can start homework.  If your child is not finishing some of their work in school, you may need to mention to them that they should be using their class time wisely.  

 

 We will be having an Easter party Thursday the 28th. Please send in a dozen plastic eggs filled with a small treat. I will have some snacks, and you can send in a snack if you would like. We will eat a normal lunch, but we will eat in the classroom.

Thursday Homework (due Monday)-

Write a 5 sentence story using as many Spelling List 24 words as you can and include a simile and a metaphor in your story.  

Please spend at least 30 minutes on IXL doing the teacher suggested skills. 

Begin studying for Tuesday's Science Test.  It will be over chapters 7-9.  They can also use the quizzes we took in class today to study.

Weekend homework is Math pages 199 and 200.  Study for Spelling Test on Monday.  Work on History Notebook.  There is also an IXL leaderboard going if they would like to try for a prize.  Anyone who tries gets a treat!  

History Notebook will be due on Wednesday the 6th.  We will not work on it in class anymore.
