The Christmas program form was sent home yesterday.  Please remember they need black clothing including socks and white if they are angels.  The play will be held on Thursday, December 8 at 10:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. School will dismiss on Thursday at 12:15, and students need to return to our classroom by 6:30 that evening.  It is going to be a great program that you do not want to miss!

Information for the Animal poster due Monday.

The poster boards are large and may be cut in half if you would like.

Here is an example poster although I am requiring 2 pictures on ours.

The class had about 40 minutes today to collect facts about their chosen animal.  The requirements for the poster are:

**2 pictures-hand drawn, traced, copied, or printed from the internet

                    **5 facts about the animal

Some ideas for the facts they can look for:

Habitat, range maps, diet, prey, predators, cold or warm blooded, what type of                                          animal it is, or describe any interesting physical characteristics or habit the                                                 animal may have.

Information about the Historical Landmark Essay which will be completed in class.

The only thing they need to do at home is finish the final copy, if they do not finish at school, and to find at least 2 sources with information about their chosen landmark. It's not necessary to print out entire articles that you may find on line. I can allow them to bring up a website here at school on the school IPad if you can send me the exact address.

Our public library has several good resources as well.

The final copy is due on Tuesday, December the 13th.
